Boot-start or system-start drivers failed to load

When I boot my computer it brings me to the normal Windows logon but my keyboard and mouse won't work. After finally getting on through the "safe mode" menu I went to the "Event Viewer" in Computer Management and noticed I'm receiving a consistant "Service Control Manager" error (event ID:7026) that reads as follows

The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load
i8042pr
lmouflt

Can anyone tell me how to fix this?
