everytime i try to add a site to the "blocked sites" list in "interne
options", ms antispyware warns me about adding a site to the trusted sites
list, and asks for confirmation. here is the system:

Windows XP Pro Enu with SP2 with "Turkish" local setings.

IMHO This is a bug with Microsoft AntiSpyware Beta 1. The info from Engel is
good, but it does not answer or solve this problem. MSAS thinks items you put
in the restricted sites are going to the trusted sites. If yu don't choose
allow, then MSAS blocks them from being added to the trusted sites. If you
click allow, then MSAS put them in its memory as sites accetable for being
added to the trusted sites. If you go to Real lTime Protection > Application
Agents > Internet Trusted sites, you will see any sites that you have put in
your trusted zone plus sites that you put in your restricted zone. MSAS
considers all of them "allowed" for the trusted zone. To me, this is a
serious flaw, and reduces and confuses whatever protection MSAS has to offer.
I hope IE 7 has improved the configuration for this different zones. This is
a pain in IE 6 with MSAS!

I agree--this is a bug. There are a number of situations where dialogs seem
to be taken out of tables, and the index is off by one. This seems like
that sort of error.

I don't mean to trivialize the fact that this dialog reads the opposite of
what it should--but that's the way it is.

Is this problem expected to be fixed in Beta 2? It causes much confusion. Or
does anyone know?

I don't know any specifics about this specific issue, but it is well known
to the developers. I would certainly expect it to be fixed. Maybe we can
get plun to test it in Vista and let us know?
