After some PC problems that have finally be sorted ive noticed that my blinking cursor now appears when I click on a non editable part of a webpage... The blinking cursor should, and used to, only appear when you click inside an editable text box like a chat window but now it appears wherever I click and is very annoying!

I can't seem to find how to prevent this, does anyone know?

Thanks!

No, the problem is happening in the latest version of Mozilla Firefox, sorry should have mentioned that.

Not to worry.

I'm not a user of Firefox, but I know there is a feature in IE8 called 'Caret Browsing' which allows you to select text using your keyboard. Which when turned on, gives you the really annoying blinking cursor. Have a look through your options in Firefox to see if this is an option. In IE you can just press F7 which enables/disables it, you could also try that.

Probably a long shot to be honest... ;)
