So many...

Really tough..

When i was 18...and in the middle of punk...
Sex Pistols/Never mind the Bollo**s

Then there was ...
Guns and Roses/Appetite for Destruction
Supertramp/Breakfast in America
Radiohead/The Bends
New radicals/maybe youve been brainwashed too
All the rush ones...but the best has to be

Rush/Power Windows..

Cracking thread though:thumb: , probably missed some out though as moods change

Gotta say good subject for a thread feckit :)

Only album far as I can see had two votes is Radiohead's The Bends, an album which certainly made me sit up and take notice, still play that one regularly.

And the two Pink Floyd albums mentioned, The Division Bell and Meddle, just happen to be my favourite Floyd albums. Odd.

With Pink Floyd, there's not many bands whose last album is actually the favourite of a lot of their fans.

Difficult choice, dunno if I could make it...

Today I'm listening to "The best beer drinking songs ever"

Only it's my car copy so it has some Billy Idol added

So I don't know if it counts

But my taste in music is so eclectic that I really couldn't pick a best ever...

Great thread though...

Must go dig out some Pink Floyd... can't remember the last time I listened to them...

& I never even heard of 'Rush' Rush, don't seem to have reached us down here. Sounds like I ought to do some hunting & have a listen though :thumb:

As bad as this sounds, mine has to be Trance Nation. Its a dance compilation which i got about 8 years ago, and it is currently in my cd player. It has so many great tracks and is mixed well before dance became all commercial and about new cd's every 2 mins. I know it back to front and it can get me ready for a night out or i can play it quietly and fall asleep to it. :)

Other than that, pretty keen on Bob Marley - Legend.
