I have outlook 2003 and a zire 71. Is it true that my (zire 71) cannot sync business contacts, it does sync personal but would like them both on the pda. is there any work around?

My PDA isn't a Palm. Pocket Mirror Pro XT 3.1.6 works for a Zire 72 for
$60. Now the question is if you can get it done on the 71? I tried but
couldn't nail that down. Maybe someone has done this and will post.

Sync with Outlook with Business Contact Manager
Customers using Microsoft Outlook with Business Contact Manager (BCM) can
sync the Business Contacts folder in BCM with the built-in Contacts
application on Zire 72, Zire 31, Tungsten T3 and Tungsten E handhelds. View
and update essential contact information on your PC or handheld and transfer
data between the two.

Owners of Zire 72, Zire 31, Tungsten T3 and Tungsten E devices, see
PocketMirror Professional XT. PocketMirror Professional XT synchronizes the
additional fields built into the personal information management (PIM)
software on the Zire 72, Zire 31, Tungsten T3 and Tungsten E devices ONLY.

Don't know about the software provided with the Zire PDA. I use the the
standard Palm desktop/synch softare provided by Palm (for my Palm Vx)
which is based on Chapura synch technology. On its own it does not
support BCM synching. However, I purchased Chapura's full product and it
works with BCM just fine. See their webs site.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.

I have the same problem. Will buy the Chapura software to solve the problem.
Palm hasn't been able to come up with an answer.

Doubt that Palm ever will, nor do I expect they have any interest.
Chapura and Intellisync has the market share and expertise.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
