If you value your reputation as a programmer and as a peer of the fine
citizens of alt.comp.freeware, stifle yourself. Rigorously.

No one, and I say *no one* with the firmest of convictions, uses your
software. A prerequisite for /using/ software is _usefulness_. I doubt
*you* use your software--if you did, you'd realize the clear and present
need to scrap it all, start from scratch with vision of
function/functionality and create something solid -- after which, and
_only_ after, you would release it to the public.

It would be prudent of you to read, re-read, and adhere to this:

Either the author is unfamiliar with your work/reputation, you annoyed the
hell out of them and they conceded to shut you up, or it's a cruel joke
anticipating your swift deconstruction of what may have been, initially,
solid code.

What are you hopes with acquiring this other software? Do you hope to have
it mistaken for your own work to dignify your presently laughable
reputation? Such an approach is far from laudable. It's bad enough that
you innocently write terrible software and not-so-innocently promote it
obsessively -- do you really think that putting your name on other's
software is going to bring you respect? It will only further degrade your
reputation, if that's possible.

In your own defense, I am still amused at your cartoon-like unbesought self
promotion -- your ridiculous antics are of cheesy sitcom caliber. Not to
say such is permanent. When the [character] becomes redundant enough, a
plonk rule is splendidly simple to put in place.

Reasoning against the hallucinations and delusions of a Schizophrenic is a
useless and ultimately frustrating endeavor.

A.A. Fussy is as A.A. Fussy does.
A.A. Fussy lives in a different world most of the time.
A.A. Fussy can not distinguish between what his mind conjures up and that of
the real world, and infact, his mind produces a far more vivid and exciting
world then reality. Who can compete with that?
A.A. Fussy can not help himself.
A.A. Fussy just is.

Simply accept it.

While details are sketchy, official sources have confirmed that they intend
to remove significant portions of the code in each program formerly owned
by Microsoft in order to reduce them to an acceptable distribution side.
The Fuzzies had no comment regarding the impact this code downsizing would
have on the actual functionality of the software.

Analysts urge users not to upgrade to Babysoft's revamped versions of these
applications. Many have reported plans to replace their Baby/Microsoft
operating systems with an abacus simulator in hope that they will, at
least, still be able to add and subtract effectively.

I dunno, I've used Babya's image viewer, and I think it can add and
subtract *at least* as well as it can compile Java programs...
