Automatic rerun PP: can't hide the mouse pointer

With your help, I've put together a PP that reruns continuously. But the
mouse pointer appears on screen and I can't get rid of it. I move it to the
border, but it still is there and is distracting when it switches to the
hourglass while loading a picture. Is there a trick to this?
