AutoFiltler Displays number of number records in Status Bar

When using the AutoFilter on a list the number of records
filtered will display in the lower left corner of the
status bar (i.e. 250 of 2200 records found). I just
upgraded from 2000 to XP and now it's not displaying as
it did in 2000. I have been able to get it to display
fine however I have to go into Tools | Options |
Calculations and set the Calculation to Manual and then
it will display the information correctly. I want to
have Automatic calculation turned on and be able to
display the # of records filtered when using AutoFilter.

When your list has many formulas, the Status Bar may show "Filter Mode"
instead of a count of the visible records. You can use the Subtotal
function to count the visible rows.
