My Auto configuration IP Address is 169.254.236.77 This
is not the correct address for NTL Broadband. My Network
connection says it is enabled but will not connect to the

You have an auto configuration address because your computer is not receiving
the requested configuration from an autoconfiguration server (aka DHCP server).
Please provide some more information about your network setup. Make and model
of all network equipment would be useful. And what is connected to what?
Also, please provide ipconfig information for your computer.
Start - Run - "cmd". Type "ipconfig /all >c:\ipconfig.txt" into the command
window - Open c:\ipconfig.txt in Notepad, copy and paste into your next post.
Identify operating system (by name and version) with each ipconfig listing.
