Auto-start Messenger

I have Windows Messenger 5.0.
How can I get it to start automatically as soon as I go on-line. At present I seem to have to manually start Messenger each time.
Happy Christmas y'all.

Dick...

I'm running XP pro. I know this works: launch the Group
Policy snap-in (run "gpedit.msc"). In the left hand pane
under Local Computer Policy, expand Computer
Configuration, then Administrative Templates, then
Windows Components. in the right-hand pane, click on
Windows Messenger. Click on "Do not automatically start
Windows Messenger initially." There's an explaination of
ouw to set the properties just to left of the policy
object (or if you open the properties window, there is
an "Explain" tab. I think you'll be able to understand
how to configure the setting from there.

G/L!

Thanks. I run XP Home and do not have gpedit.msc
So, I'm afraid I'm no further forward.
