Look to one of the many plug-ins but my advice is to not do so... Doing so
requires that the recipient of said mail must read it in HTML format to see
the smiley faces and the format is in and of itself more dangerous than
sending in plain text. Scripts can be used and, while this isn't so much a
problem any longer, downloads can be forced through HTML emails making the
whole format insecure at best and far more risk than you should ask anyone
you want to actually send a smile to to undertake.

assuming you want the smiley face font.... it's an autocorrect feature, but
I think autocorrect only works with word as the editor...
