audit changes to Group Policy?

Is it possible to audit changes and additions made to group policies? We
deploy software (MSI packages) through group policy and want to able to know
if an admin adds a new MSI to be deployed through group policy or removes an
MSI from the group policy.

How would I accomplish this?

I recommend using netwrix Group Policy Change Reporter. I’ve been using it for three years—it audits and reports all newly created and deleted GPOs, GPO link changes, changes made to audit policy, password policy, software deployment, user desktops, and all other settings. Quest and NetIQ also offer some good tools.
