Assign a user the same IP address from my static pool every time?

Is this possible? I want one of my VPN users to be assigned the same IP
address from my static pool of addresses every time it authenticates. I have
tried to do this via the Dial-In tab of the users properties by checking
"Assign a Static IP Address", but this is not working. Can anyone provide me
some guidance on this, it would be much appreciated!!
