Are 16 bit programs supported in the 32 bit Vista beta 2?

I'm trying to install a very old program called "Plastic" and it gives an
error of "NTVDM encountered a hard error [Close/Ignore]" and then closes so
that I am unable to install it.

I tried all the compatibility settings on the setup file but still no joy.

It's an old program from primasoft.com which DOES work on my XP machines and
my XP boot.

16 bit programs will not run on Vista.

Depends on the program, of course. 16-bit programs can run on x86. x64
uses 32 significant digits so 16-bit software cannot run in any 64-bit OS.

Probably one or more .dll-s (or .ocx-s) are missing (or not registered).
Or maybe you must run it as administrator...
