Are you getting this when you load Excel, or when working with a particular
file? If the ladder, then part of your file is corrupt.

I recently had encountered corrupt comments and textboxes in an Excel
workbook that was worked on in Excel XP first, then in Excel 2000. The App
Error only occured when I clicked in certain textboxes or selected cells
with the corrupt comments.

I used a macro to remove the offending textboxes and comments and all was
well. For good measure, I then rebuilt the entire workbook in Excel 2000.
