Hi,
I am trying to create a database for my parents to keep track of the rental of an apartment we have.
I need to create something along the lines of :
Rental details - i.e. person's name address etc (Ican do this no problem)
Rental details in respect to the date that they are going to arrive at the apartment and the date they will depart, also linked with
this is the need to know if the apartment is going to be occupied when trying to book a rental.
E.g. the apartment is rented out between the 28/06/2003 and 05/07/2003 - but someone wnats to book for that week - how can I
validate the database to show it is already rented out?
I have some knowledge of how Access works - but not expert knowledge. Also I am running Access XP.
I did try to find a template that could point me in the right direction for this but I have had no joy so far.
Any help would be much appreciated.
