Have a windows Workgroup with a w2k PC acting as print server. Is there a
way to log what user printed and when? Thanks

Yes, that would be set by opening the Printers folder, selecting File/Server
Properties, then configuring the event(s) you want logged on the Advanced
tab. Printing events will then show up in the Event Log.

Sorry but Printers folder, File, Server Properties doesn't log who printed.
At least I don't see where. It lists logging spooler error, warning and info
events , beep on errors and notify when remote printing takes place. We need
to know who printed. Does one of these selections do that?
