If anyone is noticing some odd landline charges/faults, such as calls to 123 numbers (the speaking clock) you know you've not made... it could just be that a friendly telephone engineer has been at work.
Did your line suddenly go dead..? Well, could be your "pairs" were pinched! And allegedly, if you see a man in a "Kelly" van, tweaking things in the phone cabinet... be afraid... be very afraid.
