AntiSpyware kills Virtual PC Communications

N

Norman

I use Microsoft Virtual PC a lot for testing various
configurations of customers computers. All of a sudden I
lost the ability to communicate over the internet for
updates for the various Virtual PCs. After wasting a day
I turned off AntiSpyware and am now able to update the
Virtual PCs with no problems.

Turned off Microsoft Antispyware on the host machine?

I've got a VPC running Windows 2000 SP4 on an XP Pro machine, and both the
VPC and the host are running Microsoft Antispyware, without any issues
noted.

A great many folks are using this method to test Microsoft Antispyware
against various bugs, so this isn't an issue that is seen by everyone, by
any means.
