Hi,

Why or how Win XP pro computer can access files on w2ksp4 professional PC
without user account and
password on w2k system???
Win XP Pro doesn't belong even to the same workgroup with w2ksp4 machine.
May it be a stupid installation bug of OEM's, like Admninistrator password
has been once probably "Enter" on both machine? And since these times Win XP
has registered itself as a legal user?
While w2k machine Administrator name and password I have renamed ...
This Win XP machine was also able to access files on NT4 server without user
account ...
While no other PC in a local network can't access this w2k professional PC.

If the remote system is logged in with a username and password that matches
an account on the host system, and that username has the "access this
computer from the network" right, then the user on the remote system can
access files on the host system ... Or, if the guest account is enabled on
the host system, then the remote system may still be able to access files on
the host system, even without a matching username and password ...

It's been this way forever ...
