Avatar Software GmbH is pleased to announce the release of MSIStudio 1.0, a
Windows Installer authoring tool which enables developers and system
administrators to easily build reliable MSI setup packages. MSIStudio runs
on Windows 2000/XP, and the install packages it creates run on all Microsoft
Windows 9x/ME/NT/2k/XP operating systems.

MSIStudio is designed to take the pain out of developing MSI based setup
packages. It provides an easy to use layer over the complex MSI interface,
exposing the complete range of functionality to MSI setup authors through a
clear and easy to use interface. Wizards are also provided to kickstart
project creation and to perform complex tasks, such as creating transforms
and perfroming validation.

MSIStudio builds on MSI to deliver some advanced features that are not
natively supported by Windows Installer:
a.. User and Group creation
b.. RAS device installation
c.. Enhanced NT service support
MSIStudio provides advanced functionality only available in tools at much
higher prices:
a.. Path Variables
b.. Dynamic Registry Keys
c.. Dynamic Folders
d.. Hard-coded target drives and paths
e.. Patch project type
f.. Configurable merge modules
g.. Full user interface customization
h.. Customizable tools menu
i.. XML based project files
j.. Bootstrapper executables
k.. Digital signature support
and much more...

With a modern user-interface and easy to use wizards, MSIStudio enables
developers to quickly create setup packages, merge modules, patches,
transforms and much more.
