Anchor icon?

What does the anchor icon signify? I opened Publisher
document and copied picture then tried to paste into
table cell in FP 2002 page. The anchor icon appeared in
upper,left hand corner of cell, but picture showed
elsewhere on page.

are you sure it's an anchor icon and not the "absolute position icon"?

is it a little box with an arrow in it?

Susan,
The icon is where the actual code for the image is, but the image
may be elsewhere such as to the right of the page because of the image
alignment settings.
