Amaya vs Nvu?

How would users of both web design programs compare Amaya with Nvu? In
terms of power and ease of use>

Thanks, everyone. I will try Nvu. The problem with web builder, I looked
at it awhile back, is that you cannot open existing html files with it.
You have to design everything from scratch in that program. I know the
author thinks this is not a problem, but if I cannot refine an existing
page the program is of little use.

Anyway, enjoy NVU, and if you have some time, learn html, it's worth it.

If you validate each page with Nvu (built in Tool), you will find it has
sometimes made mistakes and you will need to correct by hand. Although
you could just leave it as validation is not compulsary. I bought a book
on HTML and css as I find using this easier than scouring the web for
every little error.
Warning about Nvu. If your site has subfolders, you will need to tell
Nvu where to put the uploaded files or it will use the last visited
folder. Again this is no big deal as you can go back and change it, but
it is puzzling at first when a page you just published does not appear.
