AllowWindowReuse and 'Reuse windows for launching shortcuts'

I have unchecked "Reuse windows for launching shortcuts" option in Advanced
properties in Internet Options. I also doublechecked the following registry
dword value is set to 0. (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet
Explorer\Main\AllowWindowReuse). I logged off and logged back in. Finally I
tried rebooting the machine.

Still, I can not open mulitple IE browser windows on my machine. The version
of IE is 6.0.3790.1830 (Update Versions: SP1).

Please let me know how to fix this problem.

Hi,
You probably have a toolbar or program running which is blocking pop-up
windows- something like Yahoo toolbar, Google toolbar, MSN toolbar, etc.
The Yahoo toolbar is a very common cause. Uninstalling the Yahoo toolbar
should allow a second window to open.
