all adapters bound to dhcp do not have dhcp adress

I am getting this error message when trying to release/renew ip in win2k:

"all adapters bound to dhcp do not have dhcp adress"

Please help !

Nico

Your nic has a static IP address. Go to your tcp/ip
properties and select "obtain IP address automatically".
Then it should do the job
