After Installation of Windows XP Pro

During boot-up right after post there is a Message/error
stating : "The Amount of System memory has changed or the
Suspend-to-Disk File is Absent.

I have not installed any new memory in the laptop

Dell Inspiron3500 Laptop PII 333mhz w/ 128mb of memory on
a 4 gig IBM hard drive.
