ADP interface using a VPN to connect to SQL database

I have an MS Access Project using Windows NT Integrated
Security. This works fine for local users, however,
remote users who connect and authenticate through the VPN
at Windows login cannot use the application. They receive
error 18452: "Login failed for user '(null)'...." I would
like to avoid having to use Windows security for the local
users and SQL security for the remote users.

Thank you in advance,

Your remote users probably don't login into the domain. There are 2 logons,
first to the VPN server, then another logon into the domain. In Windows XP
it's in the Options of the VPN connection - "Include Windows logon domain" -
make sure it's checked.
