Admistrator rights / User rights

On user's desktops we do not give them adm rights, just
regular user rights--by doing this we cannot get the
windows updates to run on there desktops with loggin in
as adm on the box--any one have a solution to this
problem please email me.. Thank you debby

Not too sure if it will work due to the fact I cannot
reproduce your problem.
Try editing the following registry key on a test machine
first.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersi
on\WindowsUpdate

Right click on the key and choose permissions. Make sure
your users group has full control.
Then click on the Advanced button and then highlight your
suer group which you want to use Windows update. Then
click the checkbox Replace permission entries on all
child objects....
Then click on apply/ok on all property boxes.
Restart the machine and then test.
