Administrator and Owner in Safe mode but only Owner in Normal mode

In addition I aparrently have two systems running at the same time. In
Startup Programs, each file is loaded from .default user and ntdefault\system
user. I have multiple limited accounts on this machine. I may have deleted
the Administrator account during a brainstrorm(or something else) in an
attempt to solve an elusive problem (educated use of user accounts). I
always get a screen then a blank then that same screen again when I change
from one item to another. My machine has slowed down a considerable amount
since this started happening. In addition, the icons on my task bar (bottom
right) load differently often. I know this is a potporri of problems but I
don't know who/how else to get answers. I have read for hours to find a
similar set of problems to no avail. Any suggestions???

You apparently have XP Home. In XP Home, you can only access the
built-in Administrator account in Safe Mode. The built-in Administrator
account can't be deleted, nor should it be used for anything except
emergencies.

Other than that, I'm sorry but I really can't get a clear picture of
what you've done and what you are trying to do. A precise description of
your computer, the operating system you are running, what user accounts
you have created, what program you think is running twice, and your end
goal(s) would help us help you. Use bulleted or numbered points to be
clear and refer to this link to see what details to include in your next
post so we can give you focused help.

I have XP Home.
I now understand the two administrator accounts. Thanks Malke.

1. In Startup Programs each and every every file that loads from the default
user also loads from the ntdetect\system32 user. I have some files that load
from the Allusers user.

Does this mean that the system is loading twice?
How can I correct this problem?

As far as I know there is no "ntdetect\system32 user". What users do you
have on the system?

FYI this time when I ran system information > software environment > startup
programs, each and every file that loaded from .default user also loaded from
the NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM user. I performed a Print Scrn and pasted it to Word
should you need it.

In safe mode the two administrator accounts are Administrator and Owner. In
normal mode I have Owner as the administrator and four Limited Accounts .

When I click on a program it loads and the screen goes blank and that screen
comes back. The system is running twice. How do I correct this?

OK, that's a system account, not an actual user account. What is the
program?

Aren't you misreading the table? The heading merely indicates which user
gets to invoke the program.
NT Authority\System is the Security ID for Windows XP.
Default user means all authorized users.

Nothing is being loaded "from" either default user or NTAUTHORITY\SYSTEM.
Nearly all of the programs either reside in C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 or a
subfolder of C:\Program Files\.

Am I able to allow a trusted user to look at my system to determine what I
can't express correctly? From my experience I feel that my system is runnig
two times instead of the normal one.

Take the machine to a professional computer repair shop (or have someone
from there come on-site). This will not be your local version of
BigComputerStore/GeekSquad. Get recommendations from friends, family,
and colleagues. If you have a friend who is a computer professional,
then certainly you could ask them to look at your machine remotely but I
wouldn't do this with a stranger!

Dear Malke,

I don't expect this to be a "free" BigComputerStore/GeekSquard. I am
investing my time to answer the questions asked to find a solution. I am not
trying to get free services nor am I being RUDE. I am just trying to find a
resolution to my problem thru this forum. It is my understanding that this
is what it is for.

If you have no solution to the problem, that's OK. Neither do I.

I didn't think you were being rude. I'm suggesting that you find someone
local who can see the computer hands-on. In many cases a professional
who can actually see the computer will find out what is going on very
quickly where someone just reading about it in a newsgroup will not,
particularly when the poster doesn't know what s/he is really looking at.

If you were asking if anyone reading this newsgroup could remotely
connect to your computer (which is what I thought you were asking), I
was suggesting that this is a Very Bad Idea. This is a Usenet newsgroup
not a Microsoft owned and vetted web forum and Usenet is completely
unmoderated. Even if this were an MS forum, having a stranger connect
remotely to your computer would be foolish.

I am sorry that I can't help you - I would want to see the computer in
person. As for myself, I don't do remote tech support except for friends
and family.

Hope that has clarified things for you and I wish you the very best of
luck in getting things resolved.
