Adding a second CPU to existing W2K Server installation

Hello everyone.

We have recently bought a dual-CPU system and will install windows 2000
Server on it. However, when the unit arrived, it came with a single
CPU. And we have to wait almost a month for the second one.

Now, we do not want to wait for the CPU before taking the system
online, so we decided to use the server as-is, and add tbe CPU when it
arrives.

The question we have is: Does Windows 2000 Server install or configure
itself differently (and so run better)when installed on a system with
two CPUs in place ? Or is it the same with the single cpu installation
and Windows will happily use the second CPU after it arrives ?

Are there any licensing issues to look for when installing on a single
CPU and then adding the second one ?

Many thanks in advance
