I have all 3 of the above freewares and am so thankful for them as they
found GOBS of stuff messing with IE, but flash and shockwave, I believe, are
now disabled, and I can't find which program or where to find them enable
them as there are safe pages that use that software. And, how can I protect
IE if I use them?

Spywareblaster.

In the left column menu click on Tools, then click on Flash Killer.

as there are safe pages that use that software.
And, how can I protect IE if I use them?

You could easily enable and disable Flash with Spywareblaster as necessary.
