Ad-Aware Finds Alexa

I've used Ad-Aware for the first time and the only file that it seems to
question is called Alexa.
It says it tracks surfing patterns--and is installed with Internet Explorer.
Sounds benign, but what do I know?
Its TAC rating is 5. Any advice on whether to remove or "quarantine" this
file?

The philosphy is simple.

If you want some company to know what you do, leave it there.

If you want privacy, delete it.
