Using Outlook 2002 with a simple signature. I've created a small signature
that contains a small graphic file, which is attached as the default
signature for both new messages and replies.
When creating or responding to ANY messages, I now receive this error
message: "Your current security setings prohibit running ActiveX controls on
this page. As a result the page may not display correctly." Clicking OK
allows the message to be created, but the graphic on the sig is missing.
Against my better judgment, i've tried modifying the security settings
within outlook to allow all ActiveX controls. Shut down Outlook, reload and
try again and I still receive the same error.
I searched through both the Microsoft Knowledgebase and through Google to
try to find a fix for this. It appears that other people have had this
trouble and it may have something to do with Smart Tags. Unfortunately, the
response to the query is in Experts-Exchange and I don't want to pay the
$100 a year to join up.
Any ideas?
Thanks!!
