I need to run a program on my laptop that uses an unsigned Active X control. When I say yes I want it to be downloaded, my computer overwrites me command and still blocks it. I know the control is safe as it is for a program the state requires me to use for grading, attendance, etc. I have a computer running windows 7 and have updated adobe, IE, and Firefox.

No I tried it before I downloaded the antivirus (Avast). It says Windows will not allow me to download it.
