access denied: the server is not configured for transactions

Panel,
I would like you to advise as to what to do to let my
client pcs access my newly promoted Domain Controler. My
clients communicate in a workgroup until I promoted a
machine to the DC-Role. Clients are not even able to
access the server through the Network Places; but when I
type \\server\share_folder the folder is accessible or if
I type 'ping server' at the cmd prompt, there is access.
My server can access all clients directly and anyhow, and
I would like you to direct me as How to configure my
server for transactions to enable clients' access. I live
in Accra, Ghana; I am online waiting for your help.
