Hi I have a report that is 1 page and this is how it displays in print
preview, however when I print I get a get the report and a blank page! Any
suggestions on why this is. (I have not set the database up so it is
possible that it may be set like this - if so how do I undo this).

Hope you can help! Many thanks

The usual cause of blank pages in a report is that the combined width
of the report plus the width of the left and right margins is greater
than the width of the paper.
Either make the width of the report shorter or decrease the width of
the left and right margins, or both.

If you can't drag the right edge of the report towards the left you
probably have a control (usually a line) extending to the current
right position. It can be just at the extreme top or bottom of a
section which means it is going to be hard to see in Design View.
Use the Object drop-down control to highlight each line in turn until
you find the culprit. Reposition it or make it shorter, then drag the
right edge to the wanted size.

Another possible cause is the length of the report is too long. Make
the Top and Bottom margins smaller and make the length of the report
shorter.

I have tried making the report really small so that I know it is not creating
an extra page and even with only one object (field) in it still prints a
blank page. I read somewhere that there was a problem with Microsoft Acess
2003 printing an extra page at the end of a report where a filter was used
but that some code might fix it - I think it said one of the Microsoft sites
had the code but it did not really specify where and i have been unable to
find it,
