9700Pro problem

Hi!

I have some problem with my videocard. When I run some heavy games, my PC
REBOOTS! I have run Memtest86 and tried the Burnintest application. The
latter indicated error in the videocard.

What I like know is:

Is there a special purpse video-memory stres test/burnin test application
available somewhere out there ( from ATI maybe)?

Since most part of the game I run works fine, will the corrupt memory be
detected some how and not used?

Probably your power supply struggling to deliver enough watts when
the going gets tough.

Have you checked the temperature of your video card right after it
reboots? I had similar problems, or crashes to the desktop running
Morrowind. The card was almost too hot to touch right after these
crashes. Adding a slot cooler fan right below the video card fixed the
problem. When running games I can feel the heat being exhausted by the fan.

get better drivers my 9700pro runs better with the 4.4 drivers,i had
reboot problems to with other drivers, the 4.10 drivers gave me
problems with my 9700pro and with my X800 the graphics had jagged
edges around stuff in all my games, went back to the 8.07 beta for my
X800 and all looks good :)
