Hi,

I am not able to send email from Outlook 2003 - I get system undeliverable
with error 554 5.7.1 (IPT:S1) http://postmaster.info.aol.com/ipt AOL has
identified
this mail to be unsolicited bulk email.

I m using AOL as ISP. I have configured my business account in Outlook
2003, which has this problem. My AOL IMAP works fine in Outlook. The same
account is working in Outlook Express.

I used AOLs outgoing server, same problem.

I also used smtp.mydomain.com:587 as outgoing Error 0x800ccc42108,
0x800ccc0f or 0x800ccc0D

Imported the account setting from Outlook Express same error messages.

New profile in outlook 2003- same problem

Any suggestions.

Thanks Giri

It would seem that AOL thinks the item you're sending is spam. The web page
mentioned in the error message says that very clearly:

America Online Inc. reserves the right to block mail being sent outside of
the AOL Client using the AOL Connection
AOL takes the responsible role of protecting its members as well others from
unsolicted email generated from the
AOL network.

The link in the error clearly mentions that but it is working in Outlook
Express. That is little wierd.

Thanks Girish

The same exact piece of mail will be sent by OE but not Outlook? Very odd,
but not impossible. It could be something in the header that Outlook
generates that AOL doesn't 'like'
