There are no guarantees. Some will run fine, others may install but not run
properly and some won't install.

Some of them will. There are a few that won't run with it, most noteably
Antivirus, security, etc.. There are a lot that will run though. It's
basically hit and miss, though. But, more hits!

the ONLY time 32bit software wont run on a 64bit platform is when the
software installs a virtual device driver.

Don't have AutoCAD here, but just Googled this one.

Just an adding Question.

I have Vista Ultimate x64bit. And I would like to install AutoCAD 2008
32bit.
when I run setup it gives me the error. "This is 32-bit AutoCAD 2008.
It can not be installed on 64-bit Windows."

Is there any soloution out there to get around it? with out having to
install the 32bit Vista Ultimate.
