So i brought the following acer for £149 from Staples 17inch Acer TFT:

http://www.dabs.com/uk/Search2/Product+Details.htm?quicklinx=3ld3&searchphrase=acer tft

its almost similar to the think
but i think i got a good price for it

and then i come across:

http://www.comet.co.uk/comet/html/cache/374_228320.html

the same acer i think but its 19inches and its free basic delivery

what does everyone think?
should i return the 17inch tft and put antoher 44 quid in to get the 19inch acer?

your thoughts would be appreciated!
thanks

Thats not a bad price for a 17" TFT and the 19" TFT is pretty cheap... in this case it is quality over quantity. Would you rather have a gaming TFT, if so the 12ms and higher contrast ratio of the first monitor is far superior.

If you use applications such as photo editing, coding, internet etc... then I'd go for the 19", but for gaming I'd stick with the 17" personally.

I agree with Ian - if you're into gaming stick with the 17".

thanks for ur replies

do u think there would be a big difference in 2 inches

i dont play many games nemore
prehaps football ones or sporty ones

mainly its internt browsing and watching tv!:)

i think i may go for the 19inch but its the hassle u know
taking this one back ordering the new one and then sitting tite for it to get here!!

does anyone know how much of a discount an employee of comets gets?

I'm thinking about swapping over to a 19" TFT, but to be honest I didn't think it would be worth it until I saw them side by side. I was quite happy with my 15" before... I can talk myself into 'needing' anything! ;)
