16 bit application in 32 bit

Hi!
i have a scanner(with dos application 16 bit). i want to
send and receive data from scanner to window2000
how it can done
plz help

Try this,
1. Start > Run > regsvr32 slayerui.dll
2. Right-click on the executable and click Properties
3. Click on the Compatibility tab, and choose to run the app in Windows 95
Compatibility Layer

i have done this
Start > Run > regsvr32 slayerui.dll but message come
dllregisterserver in c\winnt\apppatch\slayerui.dll succeded
what should i do now?
