iPod Nano
| iPod Nano Author: Quadophile Published on: 06-01-2007 Views: 59251 |
|
| Having flash memory (solid state with no moving parts) unlike the iPod video which is hard drive based, it is by far the most durable and feature laden iPod one can buy for exclusively playing music on the go! |
Creative Zen Nano Plus
| Creative Zen Nano Plus Author: Chris Pickering Published on: 22-09-2005 Views: 229970 |
|
| Once again, Creative has managed to out-do Apple. With the biggest criticism levelled at the iPod Shuffle being the lack of display, Creative has managed to sneak in a decent sized screen (along with everything else the Shuffle has to offer) and slip it into a tiny and very attractive casing. |
Apple iPod 20GB
| Apple iPod 20GB Author: Chris Pickering Published on: 02-09-2005 Views: 33138 |
|
| The iPod themselves used to come in two separate incarnations. The one’s solely for your music, and one sporting a colour screen so you can view your downloaded photographs on the move. Well now that’s no more. Every single iPod released has this capability with this latest generation. |
Neutac S21114
| Neutac S21114 Author: Chris Pickering Published on: 30-08-2005 Views: 20506 |
|
| Retailing at less than £15, this nice looking little system is perfectly at home either plugged into your PC, your console, or your MP3 player. |
Olympus m:robe MR-100
| Olympus m:robe MR-100 Author: Chris Pickering Published on: 12-08-2005 Views: 85968 |
|
| From a purely visual perspective, the MR-100 is an absolute delight. While it may lack the colour screen of the current generation of iPod’s, the lit up touch panel control in particular beats the iPod’s wheel hands down. |
Sennheiser PX200 Headphones
| Sennheiser PX200 Headphones Author: Quadophile Published on: 13-07-2005 Views: 181783 |
|
| If you are looking for a headphone which can do indoors as well as outdoors and are reasonably priced, you should seriously consider the Sennheiser PX 200. |
Yamada Beatbox MP3 Player
| Yamada Beatbox MP3 Player Author: Ian Cunningham Published on: 03-12-2004 Views: 46255 |
|
| Yamada have released several DivX/DVD/MP3 players in the past year or so, and have become quite a popular name with Audio/Visual enthusiasts for bringing down the price of otherwise expensive units. |
OmniVox
| OmniVox Author: Ian Cunningham Published on: 25-10-2003 Views: 24147 |
|
| The OmniVox is a rather unique product that is designed for use in situations where normal cone speakers would not be suitable, or high multidirectional sound is needed. This small device is not actually a speaker, but will turn a surface into a speaker. Place this on a boardroom table and you have one massive speaker! |
Trust 514DX Sound Card
| Trust 514DX Sound Card Author: Ian Cunningham Published on: 21-10-2003 Views: 48951 |
|
| This sound card is absolutely packed full of features, and enables you to utilise digital and optical inputs/outputs - allowing for some excellent 5.1 surround sound for DVDs. |
Trust 4000P Speaker System
| Trust 4000P Speaker System Author: Ian Cunningham Published on: 18-09-2003 Views: 33189 |
|
| These speakers are marketed as 2500W PMPO - which may make some "small" 20W hi-fi speakers sound pathetic. PMPO is a rather misleading term however (Peak Mean Power Output), and RMS values are what should be used in comparison : 2W for the satellites and 12W for the Sub - giving a total of 22W RMS! |
Cyber Acoustics CA 5001
| Cyber Acoustics CA 5001 Author: Eric Portelance Published on: 18-11-2002 Views: 43257 |
|
| If you’re on a budget and want a 5.1 sound system for gaming that has a good feature set, then you might want to consider looking at the CA-5001s. Such inclusions like the Y cable for plugging the speakers to a video game console or other two-input audio system, is a great plus if that’s what you want to use this for. |
