Youtube? If SOPA is passed there may very well be no Youtube at all.

So make the most of it

I wouldn't get your hopes up too high, we are the 51st State and forelock-tuggers to our colonial brethren, where they go we surely follow.

For what it's worth a US domain registry company, GoDaddy, came out publicly with support for SOPA and more or less overnight they lost 12,000 customers which prompted GoDaddy to do an about turn and drop their support, so there's a little hope.

We all know online piracy is bad but this act has stronger implications, like the RIAA shutting down YouTube and similar sites and making them pay to view sites.

More developments

PS: To add to my above comments where I observed 'where they go we surely follow' with regard to the USA, generally speaking I think this isn't a bad thing but when it come to SOPA, I reckon it is a bad thing.

And more

Tis a shame they're only considering, I do wish they'd just do it.
