Hi there, how do I disable the yellow popup box that shows up when I "mouse
over" a song in media player? It is extremely annoying and blocks everything
else out!

Thanks! (actually it shows up all over XP but is especially annoying in
media player!

Open Windows Explorer>Tools>Folder Options>View tab
scroll all the way down to "Show pop-up description...etc" and uncheck it.
Click Apply and OK.

Thanks Byte! I tried it and it removed the popups when I'm in Windows
EXPLORER but NOT when I am in Windows Media Player!

Any other ideas?

Good question. I do not have any info on how to stop that in WMP for I was
not aware of this happening. I do not use WMP. I use MusicMatch Jukebox.
I like those small pop-up info boxes.
