I was under the impression he was on a tight budget so the idea of board
that does both types of RAM makes sense and would allow him to use existing
CPU and RAM then gradually upgrade those parts. And unfortunately there
arent that many boards that take both types of RAM around to choose from.
ECS arent the best make of motherboard its true but then he is using a
M810LMR already. Frankly Ive known Asus boards go belly up after 18 months
so I dont think brands guarantee anything. He's using a 1.3ghz Athlon so I
dont think performance is a major concern.
