Hello XPe ers,
I am using XPe to create an RTI that offers a Multilingual GUI for a more
regionally immersed locale simulation. I have achieved most of the critical
functionality I need, however for some reason I am still unable to attain
floppy, USB flash drive, or CD Burning capabilities. I am unsure if burning
CDs will be at all relevant, but I do wish to provide floppy and USB flash
support to those taking computer classes in different languages. I seem to
have the devices properly installed, everything shows up peachy in the device
manager, however when accessing either the removalbe drive or A:, I get the
same behavior. No matter if the media is blank or full, the system prompts
that the media is unformatted and asks to format. If you say yes the system
churns for a bit then states that it is unable to format the disk. Now, when
I had this problem with the CDROM drives (just reading the disks) it turned
out I was missing the CDFS component from the Target Designer. For the
floppy I have what I feel are the critical components, yet I feel I must be
missing some common component since both floppy and flash give me the same
behavior. Anyone now a good resource to check what components I need, or do
you simply know what I am missing? Any help is grwatly appreciated, thanks.

Do you have the FAT file system components in your image?
