I have three identities on my computer. I have windows XP Pro that is up to
date. The problem is this: I have noticed when switching between, say
Photoshop to internet explorer that just for a split second, I am seeing
another screen. It happens so fast that I don't know what I am seeing. This
has happened a couple of times recently. Then this morning, another person
was using the computer on his identity, using excel, when the computer, after
visually going beserk, flipped over to MY identity!! I am not exactly a
beginner with windows but this has me stymied. There is a little more to the
history of this computer, but these are the basics of the problem. Can anyone
shed any light on this? I am scared. Thanks

Instead of using the word Identity use the correct phrase User Profile.
The word Identity is more commonly used with regard to Outlook Express.

Try creating a new User Profile for yourself and see if the same
problems occur.

How to copy data from a corrupted user profile to a new profile

Is this a standalone or networked computer?

What was the last date when these problems were not apparent?

What anti-virus and anti-spyware software is on the computer Are
definitions being routinely updated? As there is more than one person
using this computer who is responsible for seeing that anti-virus and
anti-spyware software is being?

Is the Windows XP SP2 update installed?

Hope this helps.
