Loading xp on E: drive ? By default it should always be installed
to C:,if youre useing multiple hds disconnect them physically,have
only mouse,keyboard installed,revert back to on board graphics if
you have them.With pro,you can and should be booting to xp cd,
then select install xp,new copy,even with a faulty old installation
of xp,the drive gets reformatted and new copy gets installed.
