I am thinking if Win XPE or Windows Embedded Standard can be used as a Live
in CD OS to run test tools when we are manufacturing PC system with new
chipset/CPU/other hardware, because of its smaller size and quicker
installation/bootup speed comparing to normal destop Windows OS.

Can anybody here have some comments on this? Thanks in advance!

Dear phshentu,

I suggest you to use USB boot.

It has better boot speed and simpler production process.
