XP crashed during update, now won't start

I am working on a Windows XP Home edition PC and was
running the most current windows update on it and during
the update the computer crashed. Now, I try to boot the
computer and I get the Windows splash screen and the
system reboots itself. I've tried booting with Last Known
Good, but it doesn't work. I've also tried booting into
safemode and still, the system restarts itself.

Any help would be appreciated!!
